WORKSHOP LEADER BIO
Amy Shock, aka Runderella, is a creative explorer with addictions to running and graphic design. Her career is an entertaining selection of marketing, design, and editorial work, including managing and designing for “beverage” magazines, designing book covers and text, and serving as the executive director of a nonprofit she co-founded. Throughout her career, she’s felt the sting of creative burnout and has battled it with creative exploration and illustration (including drawing an owl a day for 385 days—a project that started at WMC Fest in 2012).
Nicholas Nawroth is the Instigator of Awesome. He almost became a comic book artist until he discovered his true love graphic design. He has been drawing in some capacity or another most of his life. Nick recently fell in love with improv which has taught him how to let go of the creative process and trust his instincts while having fun.
