Forever a Work in Progress

Balancing a design day job and a lettering-filled night shift is full of life lessons, surprises, and embarrassing stories. But I wasn’t born loving art and I didn’t wake up with a passion to hand-letter everyday. No one does that. Following multiple curiosities and saying “yes” to everything thrown at me helped pinpoint my true happiness: finding the problems I enjoy solving. As personal hero and design legend, Paula Scher says, “I’m driven by the hope that I haven’t made my best work yet.”

Main Stage: SUNDAY
1:45 to 2:25 p.m.
