From concert posters and fine art prints to custom t-shirts and apparel,
Industry stays true to the hand pressed aesthetic of screen printing.
FRIDAY, AUGUST 18
8:00PM - 10:00PM
Eight Artists. Eight foot canvases. Some pencils, sharpies and a theme. One hour to furiously create as the minutes tick down and the attendees excitedly, nervously pace, weave amongst the work and cheer the artists on.
Jody Collins is a graphic designer, illustrator, and social media consultant hailing from Knoxville, TN. Collins got his start in the print shop, deep down in the bowels of Fulton High School. After that were stints working in poster illustration, branding, packaging, printing, magazine editing, filmmaking, and taco slinging. Recently, he hung his own shingle with the business Feral Giant.
From the dark heart of the Monster-y Midwest, Elise (Elisebeast) Loeb is a digital designer & freelance illustrator based in Seattle, Washington. She is a Creative Babe of Columbus, Ohio, and a CCAD grad with mad love for vector art, vampires, and volunteering.
Antonio Garcia is an illustrator and character designer with a love for all things kawaii. He works primarily in marker, watercolor and vector, borrowing largely from a childhood of skateboarding, graffiti, manga and 8-bit Nintendo.
His moniker "NEØNRELISH" is about taking pleasure in the bright and vibrant (and pays homage to Chicago's world-famous hot dogs and their glowing green topping).
Alexa Jones is a creative jack of trades—designer, art director, illustrator, lettering artist, photographer, plant lady, coffee addict, and Milwaukee native enjoying life in Cleveland. She's currently an art director at Wyse, where she shakes up creative for clients while dancing (rather badly) at her standing desk. When she's not making things, you'll find her baking pies and planning road trips.
Anthony Zart is a graphic designer and illustrator living in Cleveland. When not working as an art director, he can be found working with his Snakes + Acey's partner Hannah Manocchio. When not working with her, he puts time in on a children's book series that aspires to sell copies in triple digits. In his free time, he does freelance work.
"Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, I have been fortunate enough to be doing illustration and design professionally for 10+ years. All of those years of experience better help me draw for one hour in front of a bunch of talented peers and people that I look up to, and also not throw up in front of everyone." - Tom Szorady
31/M/Cleveland, OH – AJ Jimenez was born with a marker in his hand and spray paint in his pocket. And while it used to get him in trouble, today it pays the bills. His bread and butter is interactive design, but he has always had a passion for doodles and fancy letters. If you see him out and about, he’ll probably give you a hug and add you to his Instagram story, or something lame like that.
