We here at Go Media are super excited to have Virb as one of our exclusive Platinum Sponsors for this year’s WMC Fest.  Check out our interview with the Virb Community Director, Tiffany Duening for more about their company and why they are pumped to be a part of WMC Fest 2012.

1.       Tell all the WMC readers who you are, what your company is, and what it’s all about?

Hello readers, we are Virb. Virb makes it possible for anyone to have a beautiful website—no code required. We offer a user-friendly interface that lets users add content, pick a theme, and publish their site with just a few mouse clicks. Our simple website builder is great for artists, bands, photographers, small businesses, and more. Virb also makes it easy to add a blog, store, image gallery, and just about anything else you can dream up.

2.       Why did you decide to sponsor WMC Fest?

We have a couple Virbians out in Ohio and even more who hail from the Midwest so we feel like we’re a part of that community. We love supporting creatives; we’re amazed every day by the things our Virb users are creating. We think that WMC Fest is a great venue for young creatives to collaborate and inspire each other—and that’s something we can really get behind.

3.       What music/bands are you listening to currently?

It’s tough to answer that because our team listens to such different things—some that shouldn’t be revealed in public. According to our collective Rdio accounts, a lot of us are liking “Now, Now,” “Andrew Bird,” and “Miike Snow,” who a few of us just saw at this year’s SXSW.

4.       Any artists/designers these days that you’re digging?

Our favorite designer is our very own Ryan Clark, of course! He’ll be at WMC Fest so be sure to say hello and give him high fives.

5.       Who are you most looking-forward to seeing at WMC Fest?

I think that we’re most excited to see the people we have never heard of because they will present new, inspiring ideas. We are also all music lovers at Virb and are looking forward to hearing all of the great live bands.

6.       Any last words for our readers? How can they get in touch with you?

We are pretty easy to get in touch with through Virb.com or our Twitter, @Virb. We encourage all the creatives at WMC Fest to stop doubting themselves and get their work out to the public (which, ahem, is quite easy to do with a Virb site). We can’t wait to see the great things that come out of WMC Fest this year!

We thank Virb for their support of WMC Fest!
